Weather in Beijing

Beijing is located in the north of China, and is characterized by a continental climate. Winters are cold and extremely dry, with a monthly daily average temperature of 3.7 °C (25.3 °F) in January. Summers are hot and humid, with frequent thunderstorms, with monthly daily average temperature reaching approx 26.2 °C (79.2 °F) in July. Spring and autumn are the most pleasant times of year, but short.
