The International Forum on Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals will be held in Beijing, China from 6 to 8 September 2021 to mark the establishment of the International Research Center of Big Data for Sustainable Development Goals which will be officially inaugurated on 6 September 2021.

The 4th Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO) Workshop will be held in Beijing and online during July 13-15, 2021. Organized by National Remote Sensing Center of China (NRSCC), with support from the GEO Secretariat and the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), this annual Workshop will serve as a regional forum to bring together the GEO communities in Asia-Oceania region and to report on important tasks in AOGEO.

BIGSARDATA 2021 will be held in Nanjing, Eastern China, a beautiful city by the Yangtze River and capitals of 6 ancient dynasties. BIGSARDATA 2021 will offer our community a platform for exchange of advances of SAR technology and applications in the era of big data and artificial intelligence.

AIR is seeking excellent young scientists in the following areas: information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, signal and information processing, material science and technology, instrument science and technology, optical engineering, computer science, software engineering, control science, mechanical engineering, geophysical science.

Asia-Oceania Group on Earth Observations (AOGEO) takes great responsibility in coordinating different stakeholders and activities that focus on regional needs and promote GEO Engagement Priorities in Asia-Oceania region. AOGEO workshop (formerly International AOGEOSS Conference) provides a forum for Asia-Oceania region to exchange scientific and technical views on Earth observations and their applications, and for the global community to learn the progress of AOGEO.
