China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station Successfully Receives Data from New Resource Satellite
China Remote Sensing Satellite Ground Station (RSGS) has successfully tracked and received data from the resource satellite ZY-1-02D, which was launched at 11:26 on September 12. The Miyun Station of RSGS has successfully tracked and received downlink data of the satellite at 12:22 on September 13. Then, the Kashgar station received the first batch of real-time observation data. The mission lasted about 7 minutes, and all data was well processed.
ZY-1-02D mission (also known as 5-meter optical satellite) is an important part of China’s national space infrastructure project. It is also the sixth time that RSGS is responsible for the data reception from satellites under the project.
RSGS is a major national science and technology infrastructure housed by the Aerospace Information Research Institute (AIR).
