Overview

AIR recognizes international collaboration as an effective way to harness global potential and resources, advance aerospace information science, and address the challenges of global sustainable development. 

 

To this end, AIR has conducted extensive academic exchanges and partnerships with international organizations, universities, and research institutions in over 50 countries and regions. These collaborations take various forms, including signing bilateral agreements, establishing joint laboratories, holding symposiums, and facilitating personnel and student exchanges.

 

Visits

In 2023, AIR hosted nearly 500 visits from overseas scholars and officials from governmental and international organizations for conferences, lectures, fieldwork, research collaborations, and more. Additionally, our faculty members made over 600 academic visits abroad for lectures, collaborations, international conferences, fieldwork, and study.

 

PIFI Scholars

Supported by national talent projects and CAS PIFI program, 18 overseas scientists are expected to visit AIR for academic exchanges in 2024. 

 

International Projects

In 2023, AIR conducted over 80 international cooperation projects, collaborating with more than 130 institutions from over 50 countries.
